The session began with a simple but effective composition: a horizontal line to separate the surface from the wall in the background. This helped us anchor our pumpkins and create a sense of space in the artwork.

Using the contour method, we carefully sketched the pumpkins, paying attention to their natural lines and curves. Then, it was time to add colour!

With watercolours, we layered soft washes of orange, yellow, and green to capture the pumpkins' warm, earthy tones. The oil pastels came next, adding rich, textured highlights and shadows to make the pumpkins pop against the background.

The results were stunning—a mix of playful and vibrant autumn-themed masterpieces. Each child’s work was unique, reflecting their personality and growing artistic skills.
