Hello everyone!

I wanted to give you a behind-the-scenes look at how I created my Redbridge Landmarks mug collection and how you can use them as a fun activity for children.

I love using pen and contour lines to create my drawings because I find it gives a clean and defined look to my work. I spent hours sketching out each of the Redbridge landmarks in pen, trying to capture their unique details and character.

However, these designs were actually intended as colouring in illustrations of Redbridge landmarks as I wanted to create a fun activity for children that would also teach them about the iconic landmarks in their community.

Once I was happy with my pen and paper drawings, I scanned them into my computer and opened them up in Photoshop. Using Photoshop, I was able to clean up any stray lines and make any final adjustments to the compositions. At the end of this process I had several drawings of Redbridge Landmarks including Valentines Mansion and Park, The Exchange, Gants Hill Library, Fairlop Waters, the A406 as viewed from Redbridge Roundabout and a quirky scene of a Redbridge street.

But the fun doesn't have to stop there! These mugs can also be used as a colouring activity for children. Just grab some porcelain pens and let their creativity run wild. The designs are printed on high-quality ceramic mugs, so the pens will stay put even after being baked in the oven.

It was a long and tedious process, but seeing the final designs come to life on the mugs and being used as a fun activity for children is totally worth it.

I hope you enjoy using these mugs as much as I enjoyed creating them!
